Lost Between Worlds
All Mike has going for him in his quest is his determination, his trusty .44 magnum, and a few friends he meets along the way: Longshot, the luckiest man in the world, a pair of park rangers who care more about right and wrong than about keeping their jobs, and Savannah, a precocious 12-year-old archer who is mean as a snake and curses like a sailor.
When they stumble through a probability portal to a parallel Earth, they discover a world dominated by Furry bastards, seven-foot-tall bipeds descended from canines, and they are not cute and cuddly! They will have to overcome tremendous odds and unforeseen treachery, but Mike intends to fulfill his contract and bring the young man home, no matter who has to die to make it happen.

When the Survivors used a probability portal to escape the hellworld known as Earth Three, they had no idea they were leaving young Savannah to fend for herself. A month into her accidental exile on a planet overrun with predators, when the Survivors realize their mistake, there is only one course of action left to them: to mount up and rescue her. Unknown to them all, there is another group hiding in the wastes of Earth Three, a group of ex-slaves who will stop at nothing to remain hidden from their old masters, and who may have been responsible for the mass animal attack that caused the deaths of so many of the Survivors. Savannah, who has been given a pretty strong set of family values by her adoptive grandfather, Cyrus, has only one thing in mind: You mess with my family, you're gonna bleed. By the time it's over, there aren't going to be many people on either side still standing. But no matter who wins, it's going to be spectacular!
